The Avalanche Tubing Park Now Open For The 2011/12 Season.

The Avalanche Tubing Park is a great place for the entire family to enjoy Mad River Mountain this winter. Team Blizzard utilizes special equipment and years of experience to sculpt a diverse series of chutes that offer mellow rollers for the youngsters and aggressive drops for the thrill seekers. The tubing park is serviced by two magic carpet conveyor lifts that zip you to the top. Once there just choose your chute, hop in, and away you go! Come check out our newest expansion, we have added more tubes, extended the chutes and doubled the size of the Timberline Lodge. Up to Ten 1000' long chutes, 2 conveyor lifts, 600 tubes, equal unlimited fun!

(Please note at the beginning of the season as we continue to expand both lifts and all ten lanes may not be available.  Always check the Snow Report for full details on operations that day.)

**NEW THIS SEASON** THURSDAY NIGHT $50 FAMILY & CARLOAD OF FOUR NIGHTS! 

Bring up to three other family members or friends on non-holiday Thursday nights and slide down the tubing hill for an unlimited amount of time (between 5:00pm and 9:30pm) for only $50!  That's half off the everyday price!  Tickets must be purchased with four people at ticket window.  

Your First Visit

When you visit the Avalanche Tubing Park, we provide everything you need to have fun. Tubing prices include the use of our specialized snow tubes, access to the magic carpet conveyor lifts, and trips down the tubing chutes. On non-holiday Thursdays, your tubing ticket is valid from the time of purchase until the tubing park closes. On Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, tickets are valid for 3 hours from the time of purchase.  Tubing is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. See below for hours of operation.

Avalanche Tubing Park Rules

For your safety and the safety of others please follow these tubing guidelines when visiting our park:

• Children must be old enough to ride in their own tube.  This activity is not recommended for small children.  We do not allow children to ride in their parents lap.
• One person per tube at all times.
• No lap riders.
• Chains are allowed.  (Numbers of tubes together is at supervisor's discretion.)
• Avalanche tubing park staff will assist you at the top of our park and let you know when you are free to go.
• Ski boots are not allowed.
• No running starts or pushes.
• No headfirst tubing allowed.
• No one under the influence of alcohol will be permitted to ride at our park.
• Return tubes upon completion of your session to a park attendant or the tubing park tube cage.
• Thank you for helping us keep you safe and sliding as many times as possible.
