EXPANSION
Mad River Mountain completed a $2.5 million expansion in 2006 that included two new trails, a new triple lift, brand new Avalanche Tubing Park, and additional snowmaking capacity. This year Mad River Mountain has added a second carpet lift in the Avalanche Tubing Park to help meet the demands of this growing activity.

TERRAIN PARKS
At Mad River Mountain, we offer three Terrain Parks. Although they are in the same general area and may overlap, our Park Crew strives to provide something for everyone that is of the ability to use the Terrain Parks. This includes a beginner park, an intermediate area, and also more advanced features. It is important that only experienced skiers and snowboarders use the Terrain Parks. AVALANCHE TUBING PARK
The brand new Avalanche Tubing Park was opened in 2006 and includes up to 10 tubing lanes that are 950 feet long! The Tubing Park is also serviced by TWO surface lifts (moving carpet), one of which was added this year. There are no age or height requirements, but visit the Avalanche Tubing Park page for more detailed information.
