Spring Jam 2010

Location: Mad River Mountain
Now in year two, this event has quickly turned into one of the most anticipated event of the season by customers and employees alike. The Second Annual Spring Jam will feature ski races, pond skimming, live entertainment from two talented acts, and several fun park events. We have tons of natural snow on the ground, and the weather forecast is calling for beautiful late Winter weather. There is no better combination for a fun day on the slopes. All Events are FREE to participate.  

Registration for All Events will be in the MRM Tent at the Base of the Sugarbush Lift

POND SKIMMING 1pm-3pm: Team Blizzard will be creating a 75' pond at the base of the Mad River Run for the Pond Skimming event. Give it a try, or watch your friends try their luck at crossing the pond without getting soaked. Last seasons event had some great splash-downs, this is an event you won't want to miss.

PARK EVENTS: There are a variety of fun park events planned for the entire day. The Park Crew will be building a two sided hip for our first-ever Hip Contest- Atmospheres signature event,  Hips and Lips. Throughout the day, features will be picked to session, with gear given, to the participants. A rail jam will be held at dusk just before our reggae favorites, The ARK BAND

LIVE ENTERTAINMENT 5pm-Midnight: Juke Box Hero, a fan favorite from Winterfest, will perform their creative style from 4pm-7pm in the Loft. A Rock-Jock from 99.7 The Rock will be giving away prizes from 6p-8p in the Loft and preparing everyone for last seasons stand-out Spring Jam entertainment THE ARK BAND.
