WHAT IS IT?
Mad Money is like a gift card to all things Mad River Mountain. It works similar to a bank debit card except that cash cannot be withdrawn. You simply put money in your account and then present the card to any of the selected sales stations throughout the resort.

Mad Money can be purchased in any amount by calling the Administration Office. On-line purchases must be made in $25 incriments up to $100.

4. There is NO RISK. If you don’t use all the money in your account this season, it will extend one season.

IMPORTANT RULES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Lost, stolen or misplaced cards must be reported immediately to the Administrative Office at 1-800-231-7669 x0. Losing a Mad Money card is just like losing cash and funds cannot be replaced.
2. Mad Money placed on season passes with pictures are non-transferable. Only the person pictured on the season pass will be allowed to spend Mad Money from that account. The Cardholder may be required to sign a receipt for goods received. Gift cards without pictures or an assigned name are transferable.
3. The minimum deposit to a Mad Money card is $25.
4. Cash cannot be withdrawn from the Mad Money account.  Balances remaining in the account will carry over from this season to next season.
5. Gift Cards issued without a -named bearer have no tracking method. They are considered the same as cash if lost or stolen.

The Mad Money Card is an in-house, private label concept. It places a debit account on your Membership ID Card or on an unnamed gift card. The account is activated once funds have been deposited with Mad River Mountain. The Mad Money Card eliminates the need to carry cash, checks, or credit cards and offers value.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

I ordered my Mad Money/Gift Card online but I haven't received it yet. What do I do?


You should contact us by either phone (1-800-231-7669 x0) or by email (info@skimadriver.com) during our regular business hours. We can track when the card was purchased and any subsequent actions.

I lost my Mad Money/Gift Card. What do I do?


If the card has a named bearer, we can deactivate it immediately upon your request and reprinted with the current remaining balance. With an un-named or numbered card, it is the same as cash and is unable to be reprinted.

I forgot my Mad Money/Gift Card. What do I do?


Sorry, you must have your Mad Money/Gift Card with you to use it.

Do Mad Money cards have an expiration date?


No. A handling fee will be charged after 2 seasons of non-use except where prohibited by law. .

How do I know what my remaining balance is?


Email us at info@skimadriver.com, call us at 800-231-7669 x0, or visit our Administrative Office to inquire about Mad Money balances. Also each time you use your Mad Money/Gift Card you will be notified of your remaining balance.

Can I reuse and reload my Mad Money/Gift Card?


Of course! Mad Money/Gift Cards are reusable. At any time, you can reload your card with additional  Funds by calling 1-800-231-7669 x0 or visit our Administrative Office.
