Lesson Center Guide

At every Resort there are certain people who love to gather and share their knowledge of skiing and snowboarding. Here, these individuals belong to the Mad River Ski & Snowboard School. Our instructors are more than just qualified, they are a closely-knit team dedicated to you and your enjoyment. We believe that creating a fun environment in which to learn and grow is the key to having a great winter recreation experience.

LESSONS

Whether you choose to SKI OR SNOWBOARD, we have the right program for you! For Kids 4 to 104 (or older!), our skilled Sno Pro's will create fun and exciting lessons to meet your individual needs, while providing plenty of guided practice time. Standing around on the side of the hill while others zoom by can be a thing of the past.

Take part in our interactive group lessons to minimize your expense and maximize your on-snow enjoyment! Join other skiers of similar ability and have fun with new friends as your skills noticeably improve. Please note, you will need a lift ticket to participate in a lesson. A lift ticket is our general admission fee to have access to our slopes.

All lessons are offered in both ski and snowboard.Â

Whether you're looking to join us for a few hours, a few days, or the entire season, Mad River Mountain has the perfect program for you! Specialty Lessons provide an excellent venue for challenging and advancing your skills while meeting new friends. Our lessons are divided by sport, either ski or snowboard, then by age, and ability level. How do you know what level you are? Refer to our Ablitiy Guide to find out.
