WHAT IS "MASTER THE MOUNTAIN"?

Many years ago Mad River Mountain developed a seasonal program called "Master The Mountain." The aim is to provide groups of 15 or more people (7 years or older) large discounts on season passes. There are two options available in this program; Once-A-Week and Anytime.

Once-A-Week Program

This program allows you to ski or snowboard all season long on your designated day. You simply chose the day you will visit each week. The program starts opening day and continues until the end of the season, excluding Martin Luther King Day and President's Day. The program is vaild during the Christmas Holiday period, December 15, 2007 -January 1, 2008 on your designated day. Lessons are included in this program and available throughout the specified time on your designated day. This program receives special extended privledges after President's Day, including the automatic upgrade to an Anytime Pass*. Contact the Group Sales Office for details.

The times this special program is available:
Monday-Friday 10am-9:30pm
Saturday/Sunday 4pm-9:30pm

*Valid Monday-Friday 10am-9:30pm and Saturday and Sunday 4pm-9:30pm. This excludes Midnight Madness Sessions.

Anytime Program

This option allows you to visit Mad River Mountain any day of the week, as many times as you want. The program is valid for skiing or snowboarding anytime throughout the season from opening to closing day. This membership does not include rentals or lessons. Rentals or lessons are available for an additional charge.

Not sure what to do next? Check out this list:

  1. Reserve your group's spot.
  2. Set meeting dates for your group. September and early October are ideal to allow participants time to arrange for payment.
  3. Get the word out. Let potential members know about the club and the initial meeting dates. This can be accomplished through the use of flyers, posters, announcements, ads, broadcast emails, and the web.
  4. Schedule a presentation to educate your group about the sport of skiing or snowboarding.
  5. If you are using the web, distribute your group's user name and password to group members to register online at the special group section of this site. If using forms, collect the forms. Each participant needs to register either online or fill out a registration form. Have the participant's complete the registration by your deadline (which should be set earlier than Mad River's).
  6. For those using the web, advisors should check the Administrator Area frequently to follow your group's progress. For those using forms, submit the completed organizer and participant forms, payment or credit application to Mad River before opening day.
  7. Get the Membership Cards. If you submit your completed forms with payment before opening day, ID Cards will be printed and returned to you. Any forms received after opening day will be processed and held at the Resort for you to pick up.
