Expectations
Everyone learns at different paces. It is important to keep your expectations reasonable.
Things to Bring
Well, no surprise here but clothes that will keep you warm and dry. And that's really important if you end up falling a couple of times.
Layer Up
The best way to dress for winter is to wear layers. This gives you more flexibility to add or remove layers, depending on the weather and your activity.
What do beginners forget to bring the first day?
Sunglasses, goggles and sunscreen. The sun can be very strong against a snow-white background. Also, remember to bring water-resistant gloves or mittens and a hat. Future snowboarders, wear wrist guards or knee pads if you have them. They will help cushion your falls.

1. Your Lift Ticket or general admission. Our ticket windows are conveniently located on the lower level of the Administrative building.
2. Picking up Rental Equipment? If you purchased a rental package, proceed to the rental department.

- Always stay in control and be able to stop or avoid other people or objects.
- People ahead of you have the right of way. It is your responsibility to avoid them.
- You must not stop where you obstruct a trail, or are not visible from above.
- Whenever starting downhill or merging into a trail, look uphill and yield to others.
- Always use devices to help prevent runaway equipment.
- Observe all posted signs and warnings. Keep off closed trails and out of closed areas.
- Prior to using any lift, you must have the knowledge and ability to load, ride, & unload safely.
