This Saturday and Sunday, Mad River Mountain will host the Region 4 USSA Finals. Watch a field of talented young racers, which include 5 Local Junior Olympians compete for the Regions top ski racing honors. All racers register at the Tanglewood Room in the Mountain House, located next to the lift ticket office. The races will be held on the Chute, with the awards and dinner banquet being held at Benny's Pizza.

The Capital Park Crew is currently constructing the course for the event. A new feature is in the weld shop that will be the top feature in the set-up for the event. This is a 300' Vertical TOP to BOTTOM slopestyle course spanning the entire length of the Sugarbush Trail. Details of the rail, box, and jump configuration will be posted as soon as construction is complete.

The MRM Race Program, Ski Patrol, and Learning Center present the annual Memorial Race. This spring classic race will be a relaxed, fun event. This Giant Slalom race is open to skiers and snowboarders of all skill levels, come out and join in the fun.
