New Snow, Air Bag, and Country Rock this Weekend!
Mad River Mountain picked up some of the highest snowfall totals in the state this past week as Mother Nature dropped six inches of beautiful snow Sunday Night! We are relishing in the conditions as the snow has helped to maintain our stellar conditions! It's Bud Light Winterfest Weekend January 30th - February 1st and we have a ton going on!
Annually our friends at Anheuser Busch come out to enjoy a weekend on the slopes and naturally they bring along some of their fun product as well. Starting Friday Anheuser Busch will be taking over our Main Tap Tower in the Loft and you'll see a different side of the King of Beers this weekend featuring some unique brands like Stella Artois, Goose Island, and of course specials on the top selling beer of all time - Bud Light.
AIRBAG TOUR RETURNS!
Making it's return this weekend is our fun giant AirBag! The Peak Resorts Airbag has already visited our sister resorts in Indiana at Paoli Peaks and Hidden Valley in Missouri. If you haven't seen our bag in the past it is an enormous 50' x 50' blue bag that essentially ensures you a soft landing off our huge 14' tall kicker Big Air Jump. Our Air Bag will be at the bottom of the Mad River Trail where our Big Air competition has taken place the past few weeks. The Air Bag is $5 per jump, $10 for 3 jumps or $25 for Unlimited Daily Jumps. Going to be here all weekend long? Check out the $50 unlimited weekend jump package.. The Big Air Bag will be open Friday 4pm - 12am, Saturday 11am - 9:30pm and Sunday, 11am - 5pm.
MAD RIVER OPEN SKI RACES - SATURDAY & SUNDAY
An annual event the Mad River Mountain Open is a two day event featuring four races including single pole slalom, a downhill style event, and two GS events. FIREWORKS & NASHVILLE CRUSH - SATURDAY NIGHT
Always apart of the Bud Light Winterfest is a giant fireworks show along with a torchlight parade. Our ski school will descend the Mad River in a beautiful red glow and upon getting to the bottom we'll light up the sky with a huge fireworks show courtesy of American Fireworks! Immediately following the Fireworks country rock sensations - Nashville Crush will take the stage in the Loft Bar for a 21+ exclusive show! Plenty of Anhesuer Busch specials, giveaways and dancing of course!
SUPER BOWL SUNDAY PROMOTION & LOFT VIEWING PARTY
We finish off the weekend with the biggest game of them all - the Super Bowl. All those purchasing a lift ticket for the day before kick off can choose the Patriots or the Seahawks to win the game. You'll be given a voucher with those teams colors at the time of your lift ticket purchase. Should your pick win - you win a return trip to Mad River Mountain later in the season. Watch the game with us in the Loft this year as we'll have a halftime wing & beer specials. Plus don't miss out on the famous box game before the big game!
