THE BEST LEARNING TERRAIN IN OHIO BY FAR

Mad River Mountain’s 144 acres includes terrain for all ability levels.  5 of our 24 trails are specifically designed to accommodate first time skiers and riders, each equipped with beginner-friendly lifts.  Beginners should stick to areas to the left side of our mountain when looking up from the base area.  Here you'll find the easier trails and learning areas.

Are you an experienced skier or rider but a beginner to freestyle terrain? Mad River’s - Momentum Park offers rails, jibs and kickers on a miniature scale to help you get ready to hit the big features in Capital Park.
