Adventure Place Lesson Program

The Children’s Adventure Place is Mad River’s flagship learning program available for kids of all abilities between the ages of 4 and 11. The program jump starts your child's ability on the slopes through the nurturing care of the Adventure Place Staff.  This all-inclusive lift, lesson, and rental package is available in convenient half-day or full-day sessions during weekends and holidays.  Both sessions include a full-day lift ticket and rental, as well as either two hours (half-day) or four hours (full-day) of specialized instruction.  Our full-day Adventure Place program also includes lunch with the instructor.  The trained Mad River Mountain Rental Staff will assisit in outfiting your child with the skis or snowboard they wil need for their first days on the slopes. Our well-stocked kids’ rental department assures proper fit and the right gear for both skiers and snowboarders. (Please note helmets are not included in rental package.  Helmets are an additional $10.)

Children’s Adventure Place is offered every Saturday and Sunday of the season, as well as holidays including:  December 17, 2011 – January 1, 2012, January 13-16, 2012, and February 17-20, 2012.

Our two hour half-day Adventure Place lesson package program is offered in both an AM and PM sessions and can be booked the same day as participation.  Our NEW full-day program includes four hours of instruction throughout the course of the day as well as a break for lunch.  Full-day programs must be booked by 5:00pm on the day prior to participation and have limited space available. Please allow your child thirty minutes to get outfitted with equipment and prepare for their session.
